Caroline is a third-year Economics student at the University of California, Berkeley, where she has been able to pursue her passions for marketing, design, and project management. On campus, she has held various leadership positions. As VP Community Relations for her sorority, Pi Beta Phi, Caroline was responsible for shaping the chapter’s overall branding and marketing strategies. Additionally, she served as a Brand Marketing Team Member for UC Berkeley’s FAST (Fashion and Student Trends), where she was able to nurture her love for fashion/design while refining her marketing skills.

As a business development intern for Berkeley SkyDeck, UC Berkeley’s premier startup accelerator and incubator program, Caroline designed email marketing campaigns and promoted the innovative, inclusive, and support-driven mission of the company across social media platforms. Her work at SkyDeck enabled her to collaborate with startup founders and assist them with developing successful business models, which further sparked her entrepreneurial spirit. She worked with teams of individuals living all over the world often with perspectives, creative strategies, and goals that are far different from her own. This diversity of thought has provided her with the platform to exercise her natural leadership skills and support an inclusive environment in which differences in opinion are not only valued, but encouraged.
