Bennett attends Duke University where he majors in Quantitative Economics and Computer Science with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. On campus, he is a member of Duke Investment Club, the college’s premier student finance organization, Duke eNable, an undergraduate organization that supplies amputees in Durham with prosthetics 3D-printed by students, and he spends time as an adult tutor for an ESL group called GANO. Prior to the start of classes in the fall, Bennett decided to take a gap year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but nonetheless has remained busy. In October, he won the Wolfram Award and the Scout Educational track at UNC’s annual HackNC hackathon for his innovative video conferencing application. He also worked as a Software Engineer Intern for a startup called Ideate Decide Act - a company dedicated to fueling the entrepreneurial endeavors of female creators. Overall, Bennett seeks to utilize his past experiences, drive to succeed, and love for learning to assist as a fantastic Apprentice!
